
GRASSROOTS PRODUCTION COMPANY EST. 2012
Bulldozer Films was set up in 2012 in Wales, with the aim to aid grassroots filmmakers break into the industry.
We started this mission by setting up Cardiff Mini Film Festival, and have grown to deliver training courses, networking events, trainee opportunities and more, to those beginning their journey into the film and television industry!
Bulldozer Films is proud to be an NCFE approved Learning Centre, and the lead partner for the BFI Film Academy across Wales.

If you are aged 16-19 years old and are interested in filmmaking, then we have the perfect courses for you! Our students create short films with the aid of industry professionals, gaining experience and building connections with likeminded aspiring filmmakers, with our alumni progressing to work with the BBC, Disney, Pinewood Studios and more.

Established in 2012, Bulldozer Films set up this grassroots short film festival dedicated to aiding low budget and early-career filmmakers break into the industry. All British films shortlisted for the 2026 Cardiff Mini Film Festival are eligible for the 2026 British Independent Film Awards (BIFA). Shortlist coming soon…
