
GRASSROOTS PRODUCTION COMPANY EST. 2012
Bulldozer Films was set up in 2012 in Wales, with the aim to aid grassroots filmmakers break into the industry.
We started this mission by setting up Cardiff Mini Film Festival, and have grown to deliver training courses, networking events, trainee opportunities and more, to those beginning their journey into the film and television industry!

We are excited to deliver a new filmmaking educational programme to 1st Creigiau Scout Group this Summer, enabling emerging young people with a passion for film devise, shoot and edit their very own short film, whilst learning from industry professionals!
The film will be available to watch via our Youtube this Autumn.

After an overwhelmingly successful 2025 / 26 season of Industry Panel Sessions & Networking Socials with the Ffilm Cymru Connector Fund, we are excited to be returning this Autumn. These events enable emerging creatives and filmmakers to receive insight from industry guests and network with likeminded professionals across Wales in a relaxed environment!

Established in 2012, Bulldozer Films set up this grassroots short film festival dedicated to aiding low budget and early-career filmmakers break into the industry. All British films shortlisted for Cardiff Mini Film Festival are eligible for the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) and all Wales-based films are eligible to apply for a BAFTA Cymru Award.
