Jody Tozer
Company Director
Jody heads up Bulldozer Films, alongside working freelance across the film industry. She founded Cardiff Mini Film Festival and led BFI Film Academy programmes in Wales for nine years. Her production credits include work with It’s My Shout, the Iris Prize Film Festival, and Kevin Allen’s Twin Town sequel, La Cha Cha. You can view Jody’s portfolio of work here.
Kate Chesson
Company Director
Kate also heads up Bulldozer Films and founded Cardiff Mini Film Festival. A trained teacher and experienced educator, she has previously taught on our BFI Film Academy programmes in Swansea and has worked as a college lecturer.
Michael Karam
Company Assistant
Michael works across a range of Bulldozer Films projects, including our Ffilm Cymru Wales networking events and supporting Cardiff Mini Film Festival. His wider industry experience includes production coordinating for Media Cymru, producing and directing Royal Television Society Cymru award-winning short films, and working with the Iris Prize Film Festival.
Tom Betts
Film Tutor
Tom Betts is a Cardiff-based filmmaker, host and event programmer. His experience includes working on the BFI Film Academy Plus events programme for Wales, the monthly Chapter MovieMaker short film showcase and the Darkened Rooms pop-up cinema series. He has also worked as a lead tutor on the BFI Film Academy Short Course in Cardiff.
Laurence Hall
Course Tutor & Cinematographer
Laurence is a filmmaker and educator with over 16 years of professional experience, specialising in short-form educational media for clients such as The Open University, WWF, Oxford University Press, NHS Wales and the Welsh Government.
Niall Glynn
Course Assistant, Editor And Mentor
Niall is an experienced filmmaker with a history of working in the media production industry including digital restoration. He assists us to deliver courses across Wales.
